Today, it is easy to install even small pools popularly known as plunge pools. The space requirement is quite less. However, you need to adhere to all planning regulations.

  • A clear pool is clean and healthy

Many take the visibility of water as the parameter for the pool to be clean and healthy. However, you should not depend on it as there are plenty of microscopic germs that get dissolved in the water and are invisible to the naked eye. It is important to test the water every week, preferably by a professional and take adequate steps to keep it germ-free and healthy.

  • Only public pools need showers

Many think that they do not need a shower when swimming in a private pool. It is required only for public pools. However, this is not true. It is important to take a shower after every swim, no matter where you take so that everything gets washed off your skin. Sometimes, chlorine in the water cannot act effectively if your lotion has a nitrogen content. A strong smell from the pool is also an indicator that people are not taking a shower.

  • Sun-blocks gives you full protection

Sun-blocks cannot give you entire protection in the pool as you are likely to miss out parts like few areas in the leg, back, etc. The water does not block the sun, and thus you are likely to get tanned. The chlorine in the water can also act on your skin.
